The South Hot Springs Lions Club is a Civic / Charitable organization. Our primary purpose is Sight Conservation.
Locally, we provide exams and glasses for the students at Lake Hamilton and Mt. Pine schools and clients of Charitable Medical Clinic.
Donations to local charitable organizations include:

  • Hot Springs Boys & Girls Club
  • Arkansas Sheriff's Youth Ranch
  • Potters Clay
  • Caring Place
  • Samaritan Ministries
  • Salvation Army
  • NPCC Nurse Scholarship
  • Ouachita Children's Center

 

  
State donations include:  
 
  • Lions World Services for the Blind, Little Rock, where students are taught to be self sufficient and self supportive.
 
  • Arkansas Lions Eye Bank & Lab (Jones Eye Institute), Little Rock, where corneal tissue that has been harvested is used for transplant and research purposes.
 
  • Mid South Lions Sight & Hearing Service, Memphis, where operations are performed to correct sight and hearing problems.

 
Funds for the contributions to the above are raised from the semi-annual Gun & Knife Show at the Hot Springs Civic & Convention Center.
